1. wholesale ordering
- I am a retailer and would like to carry your products, where can I purchase?
- Please contact a member of our sales staff by calling our Toll-Free number 1-888-760-4822, and by choosing Sales in the directory options, or you can reach a member of our sales staff by emailing sales@varsitybandages.com
- Which teams do you carry?
- We keep our website up to date with teams that are currently available. However, we are always adding new teams. If you would like to request a team to be made, or to see if we are currently manufacturing your team, please contact a member of our customer service department by emailing cs@varsitybandages.com.
- Where do your products ship from?
- Books-a-Million, Inc. handles all our warehousing and logistic needs. All shipments are delivered from it's Book$mart warehouse, located in Tuscumbia, AL.
- What is your minimum order?
- Our minimum order is just 20 tin box units per team. For simplicity of orders and shipping costs, orders must be placed in multiples of 20 per team. For example, if you wanted to order Alabama and Auburn tin box units, you would need to order 20 Alabama units and 20 Auburn units.
- Do you offer any shippers/displays?
- We do! We offer a countertop display, which can be viewed here. Our countertop display is extremely compact, and holds exactly 20 tin box units. At your request, we can pre-pack the countertop display with the units of your choice so that it can be pulled straight from the box and put on the shelf, or you can order the display seperately.
- What is my wholesale cost?
- Please contact a member of our sales staff for wholesale cost by emailing sales@varsitybandages.com. One of our representatives will promptly be in contact.
- What are the payment terms?
- We do offer NET 30 terms for our retailers who can provide established credit history. We also accept checks and major credit cards.
- Are you EDI capable?
- Yes! If you would like to submit orders through EDI, please contact us to get set up.
- What is your turn around time?
- For most orders, our turn around time is either same day or next day, depending on when the order was submitted. For larger orders, our maximum turn around time is 1 week.
2. retail purchases
- I would like to purchase some of your bandages. Where can I find them?
- You can locate a retailer who carries Varsity Bandages by using our Store Locator feature. We are always adding new locations, so if you are unable to find a retailer near you please check back soon!
- My favorite team is not available in an outlet near me. Can I order online?
- Unfortunately, as a wholesaler, we do not directly sell our products online. However, many retailers do offer sales of our products online. If you need help locating a retailer to purchase from online, please contact a member of our Customer Service team by emailing cs@varsitybandages.com.
- I am unsatisfied with my purchase and would like to make a return.
- If you received a defective product, or are unhappy with the product purchased, please contact a member of our Customer Service team at cs@varsitybandages.com.
- What are your bandages made out of?
- Our bandages are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), with an absorbant cotton pad for protection. We test our bandages regularly to ensure the safety of our products.
- Are Varsity Bandages latex free?
- Yes! Varsity Bandages uses the reputable testing labs of Bureau Veritas to test for latex. We strive to make sure each of our bandages are safe for those who suffer from latex allergens. If you begin to develop a rash of any sort from the use of our bandages, please discard immediately and seek the consultation of a physician.
- Are Varsity Bandages waterproof?
- Yes they are! Our durable bandages are made to withstand the most rigorous of days. However, if the cotton pad becomes wet, please discard and use a new bandage.
- Are Varsity Bandages safe for my child?
- Absolutely!
- One of the bandage wrappers was opened. Is is still safe to use?
- No. To ensure that the bandage is sterile, please ensure that all bandages are unopened and the wrapper properly secured.
- Do your bandages expire?
- It is recommended that you use the bandages within 2 years of manufacture date. After 2 years, the adhesiveness of the bandage can begin to deterioate.
3. miscellaneous
- How many bandages come in each box?
- Each tin box comes with 20 bandages. Of those 20, there are 3 different shapes, and 4 different designs. Each comes with (10) standard size bandages, (5) football bandages, and (5) small standard bandages.
- Can you manufacture custom bandages and boxes?
- Due to the volume required during the manufacturing process, we are unable to custom make bandages or boxes.
- Do you offer bandages in a paper box?
- We do not currently offer our bandages in a paper box. However, we are looking to release a paper box version in the near future!
- Can I buy your bandages in bulk without the tin boxes?
- Unfortunately, we are not able to provide our bandages in bulk without the boxes, such as for mass use in hospitals.
- Where are your products manufactured?
- Our bandages and tin boxes are manufactured in China.
- Are you a participating member of the Fair Labor Association (FLA)?
- Absolutely! The safety and rights of our workers is of the upmost importance to us. We take full advantage of our FLA membership, and with it, its many resources, including regular factory audits.
- Do you offer other sports bandages?
- We currently only manufacture collegiate bandages.
